What you will be doing?
As the Business Development Manager, you will initially be responsible for sales, taking charge of lead generation and sign-up of new clients. More broadly, you will be responsible for generating awareness in the aged and disability care community, about the in-home support and nursing services our organisation provides. Working in collaboration with our business units and subject-matter experts, you will develop Business Development strategies to identify and cultivate your key relationships in hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, day clinics and aged-care facilities.
Day to day, you will:
- Take charge of lead generation and response, meeting with potential clients in their homes and bringing them into the Focus Care family
- Facilitate the intake and assessment of new clients for the service by liaising with families and allied health professionals to process and receive new referrals
- Drive and implement strategies for business growth and sustainability, across each of the regions we operate in, and seek out new opportunities for growth
- Develop and monitor strategic revenue targets, fostering valuable relationships with external referral pathways
- Meet or exceed new client/participant targets by promoting home care services, disability support services, securing contracts, and driving revenue growth
- Prepare regular reports on Business Development activities, achievements, and challenges for executive review
To apply to this role you must have:
- An understanding of HCP, NDIS and related services, focusing on sales and client relations
- Extensive sales experience
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective partner relationships for sustained growth
- Strong market knowledge
- Demonstrated experience in the creation of documents and reports, and analysis of data relevant to business performance
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Some Business Development experience in hospital, aged care, disability care or healthcare services
- A network of contacts within the health, aged care and disability services sectors
