AddressUplift Recruitment is a boutique agency located in North Sydney with a firm focus on changing the way recruiters are perceived. With a number of new and exciting initiatives under way, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team and help us make 2024 our best year on record.
As a winner of the 2023 Agency of the Year Award, this position will see you work closely with prospective clients and our internal team to grow our client base in the form of Jobs On. Primarily a phone-based role, you’ll have the opportunity at crafting and participating in the entire sales cycle from prospecting potential opportunities through to signing new terms of business.
This is a highly varied and challenging role where every day will be different and there is an immense amount of opportunity to build a rewarding future by driving new business by building new relationships and negotiating directly with decision makers.
You will primarily be focusing on winning work in the Sales and Customer Service arena, in any industry – an ability to leverage contacts and lean on your past achievements would be highly useful but not necessarily required.
A bit about the role:
- Cold & Warm contact with potential clients (calls, meetings, email)
- Developing a market strategy/segmentation and keeping a high volume of contact with clients
- Presentations to clients including client visits where required.
- Building & maintaining strong business relationships with our clients
- Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, and their work culture/environment.
- Reverse marketing star candidates to potential best fit businesses.
- Briefing candidates about the responsibilities, salary & benefits of the job in question
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- A proven track record of success in sales & Business Development with the conventional and technical sales understanding to help them win business.
- Strong communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- The desire to learn, grow and forge a career in recruitment.
- Conversation master – knowing when to turn the right dials and pull the right levers.
- The ability to work autonomously & in a team environment.
- An intrinsic drive/self-motivated person
