This role is based in they Sydney CBD and offers Hybrid working arrangement (2 to 3 days remote working per week)
ROLE
As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission, driving initiatives that expand our reach, influence, and impact.
You will champion our products and services with industry, organisations, and our member and alumni community.
You will:
- Identify and Cultivate Opportunities: Leverage your keen business acumen to identify and pursue strategic opportunities for growth and partnerships. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and potential members.
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Craft and execute innovative Business Development strategies that align with our vision and objectives. Your creative and analytical skills will be essential in driving our initiatives forward.
- Promote our Mission: Act as a passionate ambassador, effectively communicating our mission, values, and goals. Your ability to articulate the importance of gender diversity and leadership will inspire and engage a wide range of audiences.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with our leadership team and members to develop programs and events that support our mission. Your collaborative spirit and innovative mindset will help us continuously enhance our offerings.
- Degree in Business Development/Economics or Finance/Marketing or similar
- Minimum of six (6) plus years’ Business Development experience. Exposure to NFP environments desirable
- Experience working to and exceeding targets for client income, sponsorship revenue and pro bono income
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Accomplished in prospecting, stewarding and converting opportunities, regular reporting and use of data and systems including Salesforce to track create campaigns and monitor progress. IT proficiency in Office suite including Sharepoint, and Monday.com preferred
- Outstanding stakeholder relationship engagement and management skills
- Experience with design and implementation of Business Development strategy
