Qualifications & experience
- Demonstrated international freight forwarding sales experience in a Business Development role within Australia, selling international freight and services. A thorough understanding of international freight transport procedures and documentation in Australia is critical.
- Current Australian drivers licence, with a reliable modern vehicle.
- International freight operations experience in Australia highly valued.
- Clear, professional and effective communication both verbally and written.
- Existing full work rights in Australia is a must.
- Be extremely driven and tenacious with brilliant people and business skills.
- Be trustworthy, honest and act with integrity at all times.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Research and seek out to develop new business opportunities and new client relationships using your contacts and career experience in the field.
- Visit with, consult and build rapport with new clients, using both your personality and the trusted company brand.
- Create a trusted and reliable buying environment.
- Strategise, budget and report progress. Working closely with and reporting to the company Sales Director.
- Work with our experienced operations and customer service team to transition newly gained business.
- Cold and warm calling, networking, follow up, face to face meetings and client entertainment are an essential part of this role.
