Our client is a leading supplier of essential products to the corporate, industrial and heath sectors. They are well known for their quality service, extensive product range and competitive pricing.
Due to growth we’re on the hunt for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join their team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities and the satisfactory delivery of products within your territory. You are accountable for achieving targets, proactive client management and forecast accuracy whilst driving adoption/usage with customers and prospects.
About the role:
- Growth and retention of existing clients by developing opportunities, identifying needs of clients and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Providing strong account management and leadership on site
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in your designated area.
- Maintain CRM with client requirements and forecast opportunities
- Successfully achieving the pre-determined key performance measures for each customer
- Maintain technical knowledge of a broad product range
What we’re looking for:
- Track record of achieving sales targets
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in account management or new Business Development in a B2B environment ideally in sectors including health, medical products and consumables, essential services, pharmaceuticals or similar
- A strong customer focus and the ability to identify client needs and solution sell
- A strong understanding of sales process and the ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Ability to build strong long term partnerships and manage high end professional negotiations
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
- Ability to manage a Central Coast and Sydney territory
- Strong computer skills including use of CRM and Microsoft
- Ability to work autonomously
- A current driver’s licence
