SalaryKnown as a voice products innovator, our client has been operating for nearly 30 years and is well established in providing extensive voice and data solutions to businesses Australia-wide. Due to current and ongoing planned growth over the next two years, they are looking to appoint a seasoned sales professional from within the industry to take ownership of the sales process and lead the growth charge.
Skills & Experience:
1. Industry knowledge (telco, integrated communications, internet, data centre/data networks) and enough technical skill to understand the product and technical 'work arounds' with regards to sales solutions.
2. Patience and understanding with regards to the challenges of being part of a small and growing business.
3. Driven to meet targets, a self-starter capable of maintaining enthusiasm and energy.
4. Prepared to get your hands dirty, cold calling and working from the ground up to grow the team and implement processes around sales.
5. Leadership skills and a team player as you will be working closely with the Sales Support/Onboarding Team as well as liaising with the Tech Team as needed.
This is very much a hands-on role for a good sales all-rounder who enjoys diverse responsibilities and is looking for stability, flexibility, and a varied and interesting role working with good people. There is real scope here for both career progression (including greater involvement within the business if that is of interest), along with genuine and generous financial rewards. The office is based in Brisbane's Western suburbs but flexibility around working from home is definitely on offer to the person who delivers results.
Technology Environment (FYI):
- Cisco (IOS), Juniper (MX/SRX).
- Routing protocols, primarily BGP/ISIS and IP/MPLS.
- SIP, VOIP technologies.
- Linux/Unix and Open Source tool sets and scripting languages.
- Firewall and VPN platforms.
- VMWare virtualisation.
- AWS Direct Connect, Azure Express Route.
