Business Development Manager

This role requires strategic thinking to develop and implement effective growth strategies within specific market segments to ensure long-term success.Key Responsibilities:

• Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts, focus on profitability, and direct strategic initiatives tailored to customer-specific needs.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, deliver compelling presentations, and stay attuned to customer requirements.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute robust sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Goal Setting: Set clear objectives, promote accountability, and measure progress towards achieving business goals.
• Team Collaboration: Uphold and promote company values, foster teamwork, and maintain positive communication across all levels of the organization.

Background & Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in consumer goods sales.
• Proven ability to develop customer relations, becoming a trusted advisor.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and influence.
• Financial acumen.
• Degree qualified in a relevant field.
• Experienced in targeting and penetrating specific industry sectors.
• Proficient in various sales tactics including warm and cold calling, email outreach, in-person presentations, and diligent follow-ups.
• Skilled in pipeline development and market mapping.
