You are an experienced construction products salesperson that is looking to work for an expanding local business that is well regarded and respected in local industry.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Identifying potential projects and new supply opportunities within the WA construction products supply industry.
- Attending construction sites for inspections and site meetings with sub-contractors and builders
- Liaising with builders on project requirements
- Building relationships with both existing and new clients, as well as various other industry professionals
- Assisting with product awareness and training where required
- A background in floor coatings, industrial coatings, waterproofing membranes or paint would be very advantageous
- A construction (sales) background is essential
- Ability to read construction plans is desirable
- Experience dealing with either residential or commercial builders as a contractor or in a product sales capacity
- Have a current white card or willingness to obtain one before you start
- A high degree of autonomy will be afforded for the right candidate
- Working hours are Monday - Friday and flexible as long as you get the job done. You can start in the office at 8:00am or on a building site at 7am, it's up to you.
