About the role:
In this role, you’ll leverage your food industry trade, hospitality and retail expertise to build and nurture relationships, helping to introduce our mission-driven products to venues and retailers. You’ll develop and execute strategic partner engagement, negotiate sales agreements, and lead ambassador activities to boost brand awareness and product sampling. You will be entrepreneurial in nature and have oversight into areas such as sales, ambassadorship, customer experience, relationship management, supply chain and finance. Be part of a small start-up passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the community while driving the success of our social enterprise nationally and even globally! This is a part time - 3 days per week role, 6 months fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience in a similar role within food or retail industry within sales or Business Development teams
• Track record of success and ability to proactively develop and implement sales strategies for partner acquisition and trade and retail engagement
• Exceptional communication and project management skills with high attention to detail
• A can-do positive attitude and willingness to work in a start-up environment where rolling up your sleeves is a must!
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint plus collaboration technologies like Trello, Canva and others
