Reporting to Sales Manager and key member of the sales team, the Business Development Manager will implement effective sales strategies into reseller and wholesale networks through their proactive and disciplined approach.
As a dedicated sales professional, the position of Business Development Manager will play a critical part to the sales team while also working very closely with the Sales Manager on larger deals. They will need to be highly driven, proactive, thorough, utilise their own initiatives and have great verbal communication skills. The position will be requiring a relationship focused individual who will be able to approach all small and large businesses across the region, they will need to be down to earth and able to solution sell.
As a highly skilled sales professional, they will be required to have in depth understanding of sales strategy and processes, create relationships with main stakeholders and potential accounts, to maximise sales on key projects across Australia and increase brand awareness to contribute to the overall success of the business.
The ideal candidate will need to have a strong sales background, will have lead their own desk, be commercially sound and be able to think of their feet. They will have had exposure selling and dealing with B2B clients and demonstrated success in the past.
The role would be suited to someone with the natural ability to build rapport who demonstrates great passion in what they do. They also will need to have a proven track record of achieving targets and budgets on an individual level.
