We are looking for a Graduate/Assistant Development Manager who shares our vision and passion to join our Communities Team. The successful applicant will help deliver communities that create a positive legacy, achieve the required commercial return, and minimise project risk.
As a valuable member of our team, you will assist in the delivery of the award-winning Woodbury master planned community at Victoria Point. You will also have an opportunity to grow your career by leading your own projects under the mentorship of the Development Manager and senior leadership team, gaining valuable end-to-end development experience. Although this role focuses on land development and master planned communities, you will have an opportunity to gain experience on medium density built-form projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participate in site acquisition, including due diligence and feasibility modelling.
- Assist in preparing project programs, budgets, and reporting.
- Participate in the design and approvals process, working with, and managing consultants.
- Lead development processes such as plan sealing and registration, on and off maintenance, etc.
- Conduct regular site visits during project delivery, coordinating with external contractors and consultants.
- Assist the sales and marketing teams with brand development and marketing collateral.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
While experience is important, we are looking for someone with the right character attributes who values being part of a team and thrives on the organisation required for successful project delivery. The successful applicant will have the following:
- upto 3 years of experience in the delivery of development projects, however, this is not essential.
- Highly motivated, focused, and self-driven with an ability to work as a part of a dynamic and innovation driven team.
- A great communicator and have an ability to create and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Qualifications in property economics, landscape architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, or another related field is essential.
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
