Our client is a leading and global provider of critical infrastructure technologies and customised solutions for mission-critical infrastructures in the booming sectors such as data centres.
They are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager to join their Sales team.The Role:
You will play a key part in driving growth and success for their Service Sales business. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive outreach, both with new and existing clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Service Sales strategies to maximise potential in your assigned market segment.
- Identify service sales opportunities, create compelling offerings, and actively pursue sales to exceed business objectives, sales growth, and profitability targets.
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Sales, Service Delivery, and Operations to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.
- Negotiate and secure service contracts while maintaining customer satisfaction and margin objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on the range of services offered by our client.
- Participate in customer demonstrations, seminars, and other events to showcase our client's solutions.
- 5 years' experience in service sales, consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
- Proven Business Development experience preferably in Infrastructure services for commercial and industrial facilities such as (and not limited to) IT infrastructure, power, cooling, construction, utilities, facility management, and telecommunications.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- You enjoy visiting clients and prospects and hunting new business.
- A "customer first" mentality and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
