The Opportunity.
Reporting to the Segment Director of APAC, the Applications Specialist will be focusing on sales projects in line with JBT solution reviews, ensuring optimal end results of JBT system solutions to our customers.
What you will be doing.
- Process Solution Design – Engineering, pricing, prospect review, pre-neg ·
- Evaluate Customer Requirements - Focus on customer solutions and experience.
- Be able to communicate to stakeholders and effectively inform and consult to the Commercial Managers on product line value proposition with a focus on customers.
- Participate in customer visits, negotiations, and technical application meetings.
- Identify customer equipment and production requirements to formalise a JBT product or solution offer including product performance, capacities, and yield.
- Define JBT technical and site requirements such as approvals & certifications.
- Validate building layouts and ensure agreement of required JBT footprint and carry out site survey if required.
- Review and articulate customer related Tender Documentation and or URS.
- Responsible for generating and validating the following technical proposal criteria (specification) Product, Equipment, Technical, Layout, Delivery Time, Installation and Commissioning, Total Price.
- Initiate and perform lab tests and field tests to build approved JBT product data.
Qualifications, Skills and Experiences.
- Bachelor degree in (electrical, industrial, chemical, mechanical or food engineering, food science).
- Experience in working in an international environment and communicating across multiple cultures and country time zones.
- Experience in formalizing application/system documentation e.g. quotes, contracts, price lists, knowledge and sharing systems
- Experience in working in food processing equipment supply chain ·
- Able to travel 50% domestic and overseas
- High energetic person with Can do attitude
