As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing new customers by performing all sales activities from proactive lead generation, developing strong business relationships, closing deals, and thorough pipeline management. Your primary objective is to drive growth and expansion by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Your role is pivotal in fostering strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and promoting our services to property developers, strata corporations and real estate agencies.
This role can be based either in the Gold Coast or Brisbane.
About the role:
- Meet or exceed revenue target.
- Pro-actively prospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat referrals through area mapping and networking.
- Use a consultative selling approach to identify client business need, qualify, probe, scope and sell Bright & Duggan Group services.
- Manage and assist in the development of business and marketing plans in coordination with management to achieve revenue goals.
- Assist and manage research into the market to identify new business opportunities.
- Identify prospective clients and be able explain the advantages of Bright and Duggan’s service offering.
- Respond to the client and potential client queries relating to Bright and Duggan in a timely fashion.
- Undertake relevant administrative work for business proposals for new and existing customers.
- Ongoing development of in-depth knowledge about Business Development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients, and industry trends.
- Maintain a database of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects, and presentations.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
- Assist with cross-selling opportunities among different branches. Assist with the management of the client relationship management database and utilise it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
About You:
- Proven track record of success in Business Development
- Strata Experience highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
