The Opportunity
As Fleetwood Urban continues its national expansion, we are investing in our Business Development team. We are looking for an experienced, relationship-oriented, and strategic Business Development Manager to join us in this exciting growth phase.

This role is your chance to play a key part in our growth strategy, expanding on years of technical skill and knowledge, increasing the reach of what we can deliver, work alongside an inspiring team who does not compromise on quality.

In this impactful position, you will deepen relationships with property developers, landscape architects, and tier 1 builders, ensuring Fleetwood Urban is at the forefront of their minds for innovative and creative outdoor solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse and strategise to win: Undertake a detailed analysis of the market, its opportunities, and the relevant stakeholders, and apply the findings to develop strategies and approaches to attract target clients
  • Build, nurture and maintain relationships: For key accounts and partnerships, build relationships with key stakeholders and clients in the property development and landscape architecture sectors to be at the forefront of opportunities
  • Present with impact: Deliver engaging and informative client presentations that highlight our innovative solutions and showcase our expertise
  • Create an opportunity pipeline: Identifying viable opportunities, market information, and robust commercial relationships by building relationships with consultants, developers, government agencies, project managers, third-party referral agencies and networking groups and forums
  • Part of a high-performing team: Hand over leads to the Client Relations team, ensuring company pipeline growth and revenue targets are achieved
  • Educate and inform: Share your knowledge of our product offerings with the market, positioning Fleetwood Urban as a leader in outdoor structures
  • Drive information accuracy: Utilise internal processes, practices and resources, including our Salesforce CRM, to track and share project information
About You
You’ll be a highly motivated, dynamic thinker with a knack for identifying implied needs and connecting the dots. Here’s the experience and knowledge we need you to come with:
  • Sector knowledge: A deep understanding of the property development cycle and a robust network will enable you to hit the ground running. Proven experience working with architects and specifiers, along with the ability to drill into the details
  • Persistence and Consistency: You are a motivated individual who is persistent and creative in overcoming challenges
  • Professional demeanour: A friendly yet professional approach to client interactions
  • Team collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Outstanding Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect one-to-one and to present to a broad audience
