About the role

Select Plant Australia operates as part of the Laing O'Rourke Group and has one of the industry's largest and most diverse ranges of equipment, accommodation, and tools to deliver on every type of construction project.

Select Plant Australia is currently recruiting for a self-motivated Business Development Manager to join the Select Team in New South Wales and Western Australia regions where you will be actively finding new customers, strategically understand their business needs and develop innovative solutions offerings.

The successful candidate will have strong client relationships, focusing on communication, development, and opportunities to be successful in revenue growth.

 Key responsibilities

• Create awareness of the Select Plant Australia brand amongst potential clients and broader market.
• Actively pursue all new business / sales leads and opportunities.
• Manage face to face time with key clients and ongoing interactions with key accounts throughout the client lifecycle.
• Develop and present tender submissions and quotations.
• Providing market intelligence with regards to business trends, and Business Development opportunities in the region.
• Proactively work towards achieving KPI’s and targets set by the business.

About you

• Advanced sales and business experience.
• Account management.
• Relevant tertiary experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• A high level of motivation and enthusiasm.
