Property management...but not as you know it!
Property management has been carried out a certain way for decades and while technology has certainly helped automate some tasks, we found the traditional way of doing things still needed some work.
We’re new to the game and have developed a service model with the client in mind. One that is efficient, legislatively compliant and yet unencumbered by unnecessary tradition or ‘the way it’s always been done’.
One of the key differences we offer is an inhouse maintenance team that can attend to all maintenance and refurb/renovation projects for our landlords to help them build equity quickly. We believe that Property Management and maintenance are not separate entities and have blended them together to offer a whole-of-property outlook for our landlords.
Our motto is ‘Repair - Refurb - Rent’.
We follow the marketing principles of “They Ask You Answer” and see ourselves as innovators, educators and advisors. A little bit cheeky, a little bit renegade and a whole lot of telling it like it is.
About You
You will be laser-focused on using your considerable talents to grow our rent roll and gain new listings through active canvassing and referrals from tenants, landlords and referral partners.
You are a master at networking, have a great background in growing a rent roll and have an uncanny knack for seeking out new opportunities.
While you will be supported by our dynamic principals and other staff members, you thrive with minimal oversight and enjoy a culture that is friendly, warm and personable. You take great pride in what you do and achieving results!
You have great marketing nous and love being part of a collaborative team where everyone is actively engaged and owns what they do. You want to feel a part of something special.
Most of all, your high standard of ethics will align with our values as a company, and you will never be asked to prioritise profits over acceptable standards. You’ll also never be asked to ‘just fill in’ as a property manager so you have the time and space to focus on growing the business.
We consider ourselves to be a bit of a unicorn, and we’re seeking a likeminded unicorn to round out our amazing team.
The Role
- Actively canvass for new listings to grow the rent roll and generate new business
- Utilise your own contacts, platforms and skills to identify potential landlords and convert them to new business
- Build and maintain active relationships with new and existing referral partners
- Ensure seamless client handovers to the Property Management team
- Recommend and implement marketing campaigns for Business Development
Requirements
- Current Real Estate Registration
- Current Drivers Licence and own, reliable transport
- Experience and proven track record in growing a rent roll
- Communication and engaging with people is your jam
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
- Tech-savvy
