My client is fast becoming one of Australias leading importers and distributors of raw ingredient and chemicals across the ANZ region within a number of key industry market sectors such as Stockfeed, Veterinary, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverage. The company strategically sources ingredients and chemicals from all over the world and works closely with their clients to provide market competitive pricing that has seen them experience strong year on year growth.
The Role
The company needs an experienced Business Development Manager from the Raw Ingredients industry to take over a fairly new portfolio within the Food industry. This portfolio will see you cover and take ownership of the entire NSW and VIV territories where your main focus will be to drive new business within Food Manufacturing, Blending, Pet Food, Bakeries and Plant Based Food Manufacturing. You will target these key market areas, build new and strong relationships and work to increase over all territory revenue.
This role will have a healthy mix of on the road, WFH and office time.
- Drive product volume and territory revenue
- Target new businesses across both states and generate new clients
- Build strong relationships with the companies key accounts
- Use your contacts and industry knowledge to drive new business
- Understand the clients requirements to provide exceptional service and products
- Travel to Vic once a month
This role will provide you with a great flexible working environment which will consist of your time spent between working in the office and working from home. The company believes in providing a healthy work life balance and as a result there will only be minimal time spent away from home.
About You
- Current experience as a BDM or Account Manager within Raw Ingredients and materials
- Have experience within the Food and Beverage industry from a Raw Ingredient Supplier
- Positive attitude that can work closely with others as well as independently
- A want to drive your territory and see it succeed
- Ability to travel once a month
