PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with our client based in Broadmeadow who are a leading Insulation company who have been servicing the Newcastle region for over 50 years with their premium products to homeowners and builders. We are in need for 2 Business Development Managers. The company offer direct sales for a wide range of insulation products for both small and large quantities, insulation installation services, industrial lagging services and custom sheet metal solutions.

Our reputable insulation company is seeking two talented individuals to join our team as Business Development Managers, specializing in Commercial and Residential sectors respectively. This role will see you report directly to the Director and be a vital addition to their clients, customers, and project teams.

About the role:

The Business Development Manager role is primarily responsible to be dynamic, customer obsessed, have a growth mindset, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You will come with a sales or Business Development background and be responsible for generating external sales and maintain strong customer relationships. This role acts as a point of contact for customers looking for advice on projects, customer relationships and industry knowhow.

Your responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Identifying and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, architects, contractors, and developers in the commercial construction industry.
  • Collaborating with the technical team to understand and promote our innovative insulation solutions tailored for commercial buildings.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and penetrate new markets.
  • Establishing and nurturing partnerships with home builders, remodelers, and homeowners to promote our high-quality residential insulation products and services.
  • Creating tailored sales proposals and presentations to showcase the benefits of our insulation solutions to potential clients.
  • Be responsible for ongoing Business Development initiatives, taking action to seek and develop new and existing sales opportunities and following up on sales leads.
  • Actively seek and develop new and existing sales opportunities, including following up on sale leads.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a management role, with responsibility for positive team outcomes
  • Extensive sales experience, in a trade's environment
  • Extensive customer service / customer relations experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record in Business Development, sales, or account management within the insulation, construction, or related industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Business and commercial acumen
