We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing Business Development Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for establishing strong relationships and creating supply chain solutions, across various stakeholders to increase connections and build revenue streams for the various Flinders Port Holdings Group of businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth and revenue streams of the business through strategic management of our pricing policy, land, and commercial assets;
- Derive commercial gains for FPH Group through the delivery of successful supply chain solutions and initiatives that result in increased revenue or cost efficiencies;
- Identify and implement reliability improvement opportunities to enable the execution of best practice systems (CRM) and processes with a view to enhance quality, service, and operational performance;
- Investigate and provide recommendations on the viability of proposed innovation, modern technology and associated solutions;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, consult professionally with customers, regulatory authorities, and service providers to promote FPH;
- Contract management; and
- Work with FPH Finance on budgets, forecasting including client trends and opportunities.
About you
Your skills and experience will include;
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent or equivalent levels of skills and knowledge gained through experience;
- Previous supply chain, transport and logistics experience;
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills;
- Understanding of contract law and strong contract management skills; and
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write business cases, justifications, and investment rationales.
