Your New Chapter:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team in the role of Business Development and Marketing Specialist. This position requires a combination of strategic Business Development skills and hands-on marketing expertise to drive growth and enhance our brand presence across several Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Hospitals in Sydney. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, establishing strong partnerships, and executing effective marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals. Knowledge of the veterinary industry and the relationship between the General Practice and Specialist hospitals would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, industry analysis and networking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market assessments and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional platforms.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to optimize and improve results.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and impactful marketing materials.
Brand Management:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and representation across all communication channels.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and maintain brand guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for brand enhancement and implement strategies to strengthen brand presence.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.
- Provide regular reports and updates on Business Development and marketing activities to senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in Business Development and marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
