Role Overview: We are looking for an exceptional Business Development / Sales and Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role demands a high level of expertise in developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies tailored to the automotive accessories market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing customer relationships, expanding market presence, and achieving significant business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute comprehensive Sales and Marketing strategies to drive business growth in the Australian market.
- Develop and manage a robust customer base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key industry players and service partners, while also creating new alliances to acquire innovative products. This will address the gaps in the Australian 4WD market, catering to both existing and emerging demands. Key focus will include, but is not limited to, new product innovations, technological startups, and other relevant ventures.
- Define, develop, and oversee the implementation of marketing plans.
- Manage and develop the sales channel, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with suppliers, particularly from Thailand, to ensure a seamless supply chain.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8-10 years of proven experience as a Sales and Marketing or Business Development Manager, preferably in the automotive accessories industry.
- Experience providing strategic-level advice and investment insights at a director level.
- Familiarity with trading business operations, particularly in an international context.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of achieving substantial revenue growth and Business Development targets.
- Experience managing OEM and key account relationships, product development and launches, and market expansion.
- Advanced financial management skills, including P&L, cash flow management, and pricing strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
