AddressTotal Tools Minchinbury is looking to fill a Full Time Business Development Support role, If you are someone who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for you to hone your sales craft and provide support to the Business Development Manager in driving the sales strategy!
This position will suit a motivated individual who has previous sales experience working within a dynamic environment with solid growth. As our next Business Development Administrator, you will be supporting the Business Development Manager in providing the highest level of customer service and sales to current, new, and potential account customers to enable the store to exceed customer expectations and support meeting the overall store performance levels.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting in achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets
- Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders/accounts.
- Liaising with, and finding solutions, for current and potential clients
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Monitor performance of sales for each account
- Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business- you will be comfortable cold calling as required
- Liasing with suppliers for order fulfilment
- Creating quotes for customers
- Coordination of deliveries

- A sound business acumen with the ability to understand sales concepts
- Experience influencing and negotiating with trade partners
- Experience in communicating with and managing customers
- Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner
- A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage
