The position will play a crucial role in identifying patterns, trends, and insights within large datasets, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data from various sources.
Finance & Capital Manager Cameron, who joined QAL in 2016, shares his unique experience working at QAL:
“At QAL, I work with a diverse group of people who are committed to enhancing the customer experience for the Airport. We make a difference by working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. As a business enabling function it’s important that we provide value to other departments, assisting decision making processes to enable better financial outcomes.
I joined QAL due to location initially, and I stayed because we have a great team. I can take up QAL’s flexible working offerings and this arrangement directly enables me to volunteer coach my kid’s soccer team on two afternoons each week. I love the game and being able to transfer my passion to my kids, and their teammates, gives me significant personal reward/pride.
In my role, I contribute by bringing both professionalism and humour to our team. I work closely with several areas of the business; I enjoy the relationships I have with many departments. QAL has provided me challenging scenarios and significant opportunity to continually learn and grow. It’s a great company (and industry) to be a part of. We touch on the lives of many people yet strive to continually achieve best commercial outcomes. The company has strong ethical foundations, the team is hard working and individuals are respected.”
