We are on a journey to scale up and grow and this has brought on the need to bring on a BI Analyst into the business, someone who is going to play a significant role across all departments.
What’s the role:
The role is a new addition to the business and reports to the CEO. This role is a pivotal one in propelling us forward and gaining further competitive advantages as we scale up.
The role is part-time 3 days a week at this stage.
Hybrid or 100% remote flexibilities available to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean data from various sources.
- Design and development of technology solutions to improve decision making.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate KPIs and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams including marketing, sales and operations.
- Develop and maintain predictive models and forecasting tools to optimise inventory and anticipate demand.
- Market research and competitor analysis, staying on top of industry trends.
- Researches emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions for retail analytics.
- Fostering a data driven culture within the business.
Who you are:
- You're someone who can present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- You're someone who can extract requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
- You are comfortable with SQL Server and Visual BI tools.
- Advanced in excel, VBA, Macros etc.
- Advanced in data visualisation.
- Able to work autonomously is a must.
- Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically.
- Experience in retail would be highly desired.
- Bachelor Degree in a related discipline.
