We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI. As a Power BI Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements, build data models, create interactive visualizations and reports, and optimize performance for our stakeholders. You will play a vital role in transforming raw data into valuable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Power BI solutions.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Create data models and data transformations to ensure accurate and efficient data processing.
- Perform data analysis, testing and cleansing to ensure data quality and integrity is maintained.
- Optimize the performance of Power BI solutions by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Power BI development and data visualization.
- Participate in troubleshooting and optimization of reports and dashboards developed by the team.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of Power BI.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following set of skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Proficient in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M (Power Query Formula Language).
- Implementation of custom calculations and measures to derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in Power BI or related technologies are a plus.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in relevant roles
