Our client is a private-equity backed healthcare organisation that provides an essential service to at-risk individuals across Victoria. The business is developing a variety of commercial projects and initiating a complex system transformation piece which has generated the capacity for additional resources within the finance function to support the change.
This is a great opportunity for a talented Business Intelligence manager to get their hands dirty with transformative and project-based work in a complex environment.
The offices reside in an accessible location within the CBD, with work conditions complimented by a flexible work from home structure that mandates only 2 days in office. There is a focus on internal culture and positive workplace relationships which is instilled at the executive level. The right candidate should expect to play an integral part in promoting a healthy office environment.
The Role
This is a 3M temp-to-perm 2IC role reporting into the Business Intelligence Manager with a dotted line to the exec-suite which will play a role in leading commercial decisions. Your role includes the following:
- Create and maintain financial and operational dashboards
- Partner with general managers across all business lines to establish better reporting practices and define critical performance KPIs
- Evaluate commercial business cases with senior operational stakeholders, providing data-led insights that supercharge decision-making
- Partner with the finance team during budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Identify opportunities for improvements in operational and capital expenditure
- Ad-hoc report building, modelling, and analysis as required
- Prepare monthly management reports for the board
- Assist with the preparation of annual reports
Your Skills and Experience
- Tableau and SQL experience is essential
- Healthcare experience is highly regarded
- Exposure to complex technology domains, with multiple overlapping systems from different group entities
- Impeccable communication skills and demonstrated management experience
- Exceptional business analysis skills
- Advanced Excel and data analytics skillset
- Ability to start within 1 week
