St James’ Anglican School is owned and operated by the Anglican Schools Commission (ASC). It is located in Perth’s northern suburbs and situated 44km from the CBD on the coast.

St James’ Anglican School caters for approximately 1100 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and will likely grow to a capacity of 1250 in the coming years. The Business Manager’s role is a very hands on position and will excite a person who enjoys working closely with others to the benefit of students. As the School moves beyond its tenth year this role will transition as new facilities are planned and built and staff numbers increase beyond 150.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Principal and Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) to efficiently manage non-academic operations. This includes all support and administrative staff.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts, budgeting, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Provide accurate financial information reports to the management team.
- Manage vendor relationships and procure cost-effective goods and services.
- Take charge of facilities, IT operations, safety compliance, and student financials.
- Support the executive team and staff on financial matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and financial data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheet, and database management.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience in facilities management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management.
