Petritek is a leading supplier in bespoke R&D solutions. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's client base and market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Identify potential clients and decision-makers within client organizations.
Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and company senior management.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.
Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and business cases to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
Develop and maintain our client database.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Utilize CRM platform to track and manage lead and client engagements.
Communicate progress and updates to key stakeholders within Petritek on a weekly basis.
Coordinate the development of the company's marketing plan and budget.
Monitor client satisfaction and recommend improvements to service delivery.
Attend functions and coordinate event participation.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debrief sessions.
Monitor and track sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
Organize follow-up of any outstanding leads, quotes, and tenders.
Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to continuously enhance Business Development strategies and tactics.

Preferred Background:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for Business Development and winning. While technical knowledge is beneficial, candidates with sales experience and a drive to succeed will also be considered.
Days and Hours of Work:
Full-time, 5 days a week.
