We supply heavy-vehicle hoists, mobile column lifts, truck lifts, rail hoists, scissor lifts, 2 post hoists, 4 post hoists, car stackers, parking lifts, as well as an extensive range of wheel service equipment – we’re the exclusive Australian distributor of Stertil-Koni, Beissbarth, Bendpak, Autostacker, Ranger, and Quickjack.
Our clients are in the road and rail related markets and as part of our business expansion, we are hiring an experienced National Business Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will create, grow, and maintain business in the heavy goods vehicle sector of the market. The role will focus on managing company operations including Sales & Inventory.
Who are we looking for?
You are experienced and successful in operations and sales, preferably from the heavy vehicle sector or other automotive related industry. You work independently, backed by a strong sales and operations support team and ongoing support from the General Manager.
What will you do?
•Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
•Deliver high accountability and execution in operations and sales.
•Keep us compliant with all related regulations, both government and industry.
•Manage staff through recruiting, on-boarding, performance management, professional development, and talent retention.
•Monitor performance with the available software, take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed forecasts and updates.
•Turn plans into quantifiable steps for growth with organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning - to include an emphasis on coordinating efforts across teams and achieving the company’s short and long-term targets for growth and profitability.
•Work with the General Manager to formulate a company vision, operations strategy, and strategic business plan that will expand the existing customer base and reinforce the company's market presence.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
•Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
•Solid understanding of data analysis, performance metrics, and a demonstration of financial acumen.
•Five or more years working in management leadership roles.
•Excellent leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
•Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
