About the role:
The Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency of our operations, implementing strategies to grow our current business partnerships, and developing new pipelines of customers. This individual will be responsible for project management and optimising our operational processes, nurturing existing relationships with partners, and actively seeking opportunities to expand our client base, while fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational Oversight and Efficiency:
• Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure seamless Business Operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency, productivity, and resource utilisation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyse current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement streamlined workflows and standardised procedures based on data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement across all operational functions.
• Coordinate with department heads to streamline cross-functional processes and workflows.
Business Partner Growth
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing business partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for mutual growth and expansion of services.
• Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by partners, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
New Customer Pipeline Development
• Lead the development of strategies to identify and target new potential customers in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales initiatives to attract new customers and expand our market reach.
Project Management and Business Development
• Lead and oversee business projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
• Drive the development of new business opportunities, including identifying potential clients, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
Team Leadership and Development
• Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Set clear goals and objectives for team members and monitor performance against targets.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.
Financial Management
• Assist in developing and managing the operational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Work closely with the finance department to forecast and track operational expenditures.
Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety regulations.
• Identify potential risks to Business Operations and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
To be successful for this role, you will be:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in project management and business development.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
