Job Description
About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a P&C Business Partner to join the P&C team on a 2-year fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Director of P&C. The successful candidate will be entrusted with providing top-tier strategic Business Partnering services to employees and managers on people-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, investigations, disciplinary actions as well as safety and wellbeing matters. Including, but not limited to:
- Coaching, upskill and partner with Executives and Senior Management to build and implement human resources solutions in line with the company strategy.
- Utilise data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to optimise people-related processes.
- Primary contact for team members across agreed Minderoo Foundation areas for first line P&C Business Partner needs across the employee lifecycle.
- Closely collaborate with the P&C Centres of Excellence to deliver comprehensive human capital support and advice.
- Applying critical thinking to develop practical and impactful initiatives that improve accountability and organisational efficiency, and contribute to a positive employee experience.
- Contributing to the ongoing evolution and maturity of the P&C function.
Qualifications
About You
To be successful you will have a people centred and collaborative working style, and be skilled in influencing and negotiating up to Executive leadership level, and be able to demonstrate:
- Extensive HR Business Partnering experience with senior leadership teams, ideally within a matrix structure.
- Experience in providing expert advice and guidance on a range of HR issues with the ability to work in a complex, dynamic and changing environment.
- Extensive experience across awards, policies, and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence, and communicate with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrable ability to work at both strategic and operational levels to provide commercially focused HR advice.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Passionate about driving organisational success through people strategies.
- Strategic thinker with strong planning, change management and project leadership abilities.
- International experience, ideally US, UK, and Europe, would be highly regarded.
