Our client is seeking a Senior Industrial Relations Business Partner to effectively lead the Industrial Relations Strategy, liaising between both Fremantle and Kwinana sites. You will be responsible for executing negotiations for all enterprise agreements.
Working in collaboration with the People & Performance team, senior leaders and external stakeholders, you will take the lead on all matters relating to enterprise agreement negotiations, manage the dispute resolution process and provide support for employee relations matters across the business.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to shape the business’s approach to Industrial Relations and ensure credibility for core values are maintained.
The Senior IR Business Partner will also provide critical IR and ER support as a subject matter expert to the broader People & Performance team and other leadership team members across the business.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Experience leading the formulation of EA negotiation strategies, including the ability to assess risk associated with negotiations to mitigate impact to operations.
- Demonstrated experience at leading negotiations with successful business outcomes.
- Understanding of the legislative and industry landscape of an operational, and experience with a Government Trading Enterprise and/or public sector environment is desirable.
- Dispute management experience, supporting leaders to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Extensive experience providing employee relations advice (i.e. disciplinary, performance, investigations, employee grievances etc).
- Skills at providing persuasive and fact-based communications during complex matters, such as voting on enterprise agreements or the taking of industrial action.
