Senior Industrial Relations Business Partner

Our client is a major gateway to WA’s trading and shipping industry, they are steeped in history and constantly evolving to accommodate services and facilities for their customers.Currently they are seeking a Senior Industrial Relations Business Partner to lead the delivery of the IR strategy including negotiations for all EBAs.Working closely with internal and external stakeholders this highly visible role will lead all matters IR and provide support across the business.This is a unique opportunity to shape the future and approach to Industrial Relations and will suit a charismatic and engaging leader.As a subject matter expert, you will support the wider business including People & Performance and other leaders.About you:As a highly experienced IR specialist you will bring solid knowledge in the areas of EA negotiation strategies and risk assessment. You will have a track record of delivering favourable business outcomes and leading negotiations.Further expertise required to be successful in this role includes:

• Deep understanding of legislative and industry landscape within a Government Trading Enterprise or public sector environment
• Extensive experience providing ER advice including performance, investigations and grievances
• In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and credibility
