AddressFocus Minerals (FML) is a leading Australian gold explorer with tenure in Coolgardie and Laverton, two exciting gold regions in WA, and is the largest landholder in the Coolgardie goldfields with over 450sq km of tenements. Resumption of operations commenced in 2023 and FML has now commenced the planning and execution phase of bringing its Bonnie Vale underground operation online, located 10km north of its 1.2 Mtpa Three Mile Hill processing plant.
Key responsibilities
- Standalone payroll role in a small HR team
- Process payroll using ELMO (Keypay) software
- Management of Payroll and HR inbox queries
- Provide up to date and accurate Human Resources assistance and support to corporate and operations
- Developing relevant Human Resources internal manuals, procedures, and templates
- Supporting payroll audit processes, when required
- Reporting on payroll statistics and analysis of data
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process and onboarding of new employees
- Creating and issuing employee contracts
- Maintain up to date knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
- Compile month reports using ELMO HR System ensuring integrity and accuracy
- Develop key relationships in the business
- Manage HR purchase orders and invoices
- Other HR tasks as required
Skills and Experience
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Extensive Payroll experience - ELMO (Keypay platform) experience desirable
- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards
- Previous experience working within the mining/resources industry will be highly regarded
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships
- Ability to analyse and communicate financial information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- High level attention to detail, efficient and accurate
- Ability to pass a medical
- National Police Clearance required
