About the team
Our Innovation and Digital Transformation team are responsible for advancing and discovering new ideas and ways of working which improve how BDO in Australia delivers products, services and experiences to our people and clients.
As a team, they support various teams nationally with:
- developing streamlined ways of working through the implementation of digital technologies.
- piloting new products and services to improve service delivery and operational efficiencies.
- cultivating value-adding ideas by empowering teams to leverage innovative thinking and design concepts.
Our Innovation and Digital Transformation team in Sydney is experiencing significant growth due to lots of new and exciting internal projects.
We are expanding the team and looking for a Product Manager to work with local subject matter experts and champions to ensure all updates and changes are well tested prior to go-live whilst managing the change and communication items to ensure they are fit for purpose.
What you’ll be doing
- Work closely with local SME, Stakeholders and Champions to gather and refine requirements, define product features and specifications, and communicate with the team to ensure local requirements are clearly documented and effectively communicated to cross-functional teams
- Promote cross-team understanding of the product’s features and functions
- Develop and promote material to uplift and support the adoption of the product across our local firm
- Analysis of local internal user and client materials, videos, guides
- Influence product development roadmap with the vendor to align with local firm needs, goals and client requirements
- Liaise with IT teams when required to manage technical issues or application integrations
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting applications, platforms or products. You’ll have genuine empathy for customers and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
Qualifications and Experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Communications or related field
- Experience in balancing business objectives, internal user requirements and technical feasibility
- Knowledge of client collaboration tools
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, emerging industry trends, and their application to business transformation initiatives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and the ability to work well within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
