The Role
Lead and manage a team of supervisors, to maximize efficiencies in productivity levels while maintaining product integrity and quality. You will manage all production operations, working closely with the leadership team. To be successful in the role, you will have the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment. You will need to possess the skills to effectively coach and mentor the production team and have the knowledge to contribute to the continual growth of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee staff
- Purchasing production products
- Product R & D/prototype building
- Inventory and yard stock management
- Project Management -Truck install and build schedule - Timeline development / management
- Labour scheduling, sourcing, and training
- Flow efficiency/LEAN implementation proficiency
- ISO 9001 (systems documentation)
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a similar position and working with multiple different supply chain systems
- Be competent in relationship management of all stakeholders within a business environment
- Proven ability to work independently and self-manage workloads
- The ability to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment and ability to adapt to change
- Highly organised and process driven
- Comfortable using own initiative and taking ownership of processes
- LEAN manufacturing proficiency
