We are working with a fantastic Business Services firm who service clients from a broad range of industries.
You will be responsible for:
- Financial record keeping, including journals, ledgers and financial statements
- Bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger and payroll processing ensuring compliance
- Preparing and filing tax returns
- Analysing financial data and making recommendations for improvement
- Liaison with clients both in person and via email and telephone
- Providing financial advice to clients pertaining to expansion, investment and risk management
- Developing budgets and forecasts, and preparing and distributing financial reports
To be successful in this role you will need to be a first class communicator and have excellent attention to detail. The ideal person for this role will have 3+ years experience working in public practice/Business Services, where they can demonstrate a strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax rules. It is essential that you possess an undergraduate degree in accounting/finance or similar and have full working rights in Australia. Experience with MYOB/Xero would be advantageous.
