SalaryReporting to the Project Director Solution Development, the Business Solution Architect will be accountable for creating solutions addressing client needs and drivers to build a winning bid submission and win new work or rewin existing work, facilitating with stakeholders, maintaining exceptional stakeholder relationships, delivery of the elements of the RFT in line with Solution Director and Bid Director requirements.
This role is working within our DS&I (Defence & Social Infrastructure) division would suit a Project Director or a Bid Manager / Business Development Manager wanting a career shift towards Operations.
This role is a Permanent Full-time engagement and based out of our Cremorne office 5 days per week.
Role responsibilities:
- Work with SMEs and pre-bid teams to ensure our process, systems and organizational design meets the clients' requirements, delivering profitable growth for Ventia
- Be a collaboration champion within Ventia and with industry to identify compelling solutions
- Work with industry to identify potential vendors who can support our solution
- Provide insight into the client's needs and ensure these are captured within our solutions and response documents
- Ensure contract scope deliverables and requirements are identified, captured, and documented in our solution and response documents
- Present our solution to prospective clients, articulating features and benefits, in an engaging and compelling fashion to deliver profitable growth for Ventia
- Provide Ventia's Pre-Contract teams with the necessary documented information in the format required so that written submissions and estimates can be completed
- Support training effort (development and delivery) including -BAU Project team, Client, and Subcontractors
- Provide input/guidance to those responsible for the operational delivery
- Identify and document any inflight improvement projects and where necessary assist in negotiating with client
- Undertake reasonable travel intrastate and interstate as required
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in Operations, Business Management, or Solution Development working within a large complex environment.
You will also possess:
- Ability to think on their feet
- Creativity and able to communicate ideas effectively
- Generate concepts from capture planning insights
- A practical experience in facilitating teams
- Demonstrated success in balancing multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to collaborate with and inspire a team of professionals and operational delivery teams
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with demonstrated ability in influencing outcomes across stakeholders
