How will I help?
In this position, you will be interacting with small to medium-sized business customers, understand their Business goals and needs and offer a suitable Merchant Solution to help their Business grow. Channels of Support include Inbound, Outbound and Digital.
All Businesses need to take payments. We are here to offer a tailored solution to suit the individual's needs. We are fast-paced, operating in a competitive market where you will learn the art of deepening customer relations and having quality needs-based conversations. This is an exciting time in Merchants as we are delivering on leading class technology and campaigns.
More specifically, you will be:
- Receiving inbound calls from business owners looking to purchase a Merchant Facility or service with St George
- Helping understanding customer's needs, to connect them to suitable business banking products, including business accounts and payment facilities
- Responding to customers over email and processing customer information in our systems
To be successful in this role, you'll be required to work across our operating hours Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
What do I need?
We are looking for customer service superstars, who are passionate about connecting customer needs to suitable products and services that benefit them. If you are looking to break into the banking industry or take your experience to the next level, this would be an ideal role for you. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Solid background in customer service and/or sales
- Clear communication skills and resilience to take a high number of calls
- Strong attention to detail, including written skills
- Strong computer literacy, with the ability to learn new systems
- Experience within Banking and Finance will be highly advantageous
