The Studio Manager / PA takes responsibility for and manages the overall functions for one of West Australia’s most successful and well-known artists.
The role will initially be approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible mix of on-site and remote work.
The position will be casual with a potential transition to permanent part time after 3 months for the right candidate. Based in East Perth.

The Studio Manager / PA reports to the Artist
REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will be organised and self-motivated, with strong capabilities in administration and marketing. The applicant will be able to work both under instruction from the artist and independently oversee the smooth operation of a creative studio whilst managing budgets and maintaining administrative systems.
Once in the role, the applicant will need to gain familiarity with the artist’s back catalogue of works and learn to use the industry specific software Art Galleria for studio sales, inventory control and historical archives.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- High level administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mac platform familiar
- Operation of digital pigment printer (giclee)
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop) skills or similar
- Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
- Capacity to search online internationally for specific items
- A hands-on attitude
- Run a thorough business filing system
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Promotion and marketing experience
- Understanding the fine art industry in Australia
- Experience with website maintenance and development
- Promotional experience via social media platforms
