Job description
In this role you will be part of the newly established Truth-Telling and Healing Inquiry Team and support work associated with the Queensland Police Service (QPS) response to the Inquiry and First Nations community engagement strategies that is anticipated to extend over three years.
The core capability requirements for this role are:
• Provide high level administrative support services to Director (SO) Truth-telling and Healing Inquiry Team, including building maintenance and security, filing and retention, disposal, or destruction of records in accordance with QPS procedures.• Monitor the administration in box and maintain data management, including tracking correspondence, monitoring systems and distribution of correspondence.• Liaise with a range of stakeholders on behalf of senior management and negotiate with internal and external clients in relation to the procurement of services, equipment, and supplies.• Manage the administration of diaries, meetings, conference, and other executive events, ensuring that supporting documents, agenda papers and reports are available as necessary.• Maintain and monitor rosters within leave management systems, including the monitoring of absenteeism trends and auditing of leave.• Work collaboratively with stakeholders in providing urgent assistance and support as required by the Director (SO) Truth-telling and Healing Inquiry Team.
