Business Support Officer - Safe Active And Connected Communities

The City of Greater Dandenong Safe, Active and Connected Communities team require a full time Business Support Officer to assist the Manager and Leadership of the department to:

? Support the Manager and Coordinators to enable effective time management and prioritisation of workloads.

? Provide day to day Business Support to the Manager for diary, email and other correspondence.

? Research and collate information and assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and

briefing notes for the Department using sound formatting and corporate style.

? Keep track of organisational timelines and project requirements including the Council Forward Schedule to ensure the Manager processes work in required time frames.

? Prepare for meetings, attend and take minutes as required.

? At all times, maintain the strictest confidentiality.

Specialist Skills and Knowledge

We are looking for someone with:

? Sound interpersonal skills and the capacity to work well with others.

? Experience providing flexible administration support across multidisciplinary teams including the ability to manage competing priorities.

? High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills exercising sound judgment, discretion and confidentiality.

? Proficiency in the application of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including but not limited to Word, Outlook and Excel, as well as an understanding of web-based and image editing software.

The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar supportive role and show a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
