Aboriginal Community Services (ACS) are a non-profit provider of residential aged care, home and community services. We provide aged care services across South Australia in urban, rural and remote locations.
About the role
If you wish to work for an organisation which makes a positive difference in the lives of our clients' then this is the role for you. The objective of this role is to support the administrative needs as directed by the General Manager Finance & Corporate Services.
Responsibilities:
Contracts management
- managing contract templates and liaising with lawyers as necessary.
- preparing, negotiating and amending commercial contracts.
- (with line managers) resolving and managing contract disputes.
- terminating contracts for breaches or non-performance.
- ensuring insurances, police clearances and other contract requirements are provided.
- managing organisational procurement and contract management policies and processes.
- ensuring contracts meet Aged Care Quality Standards and Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission obligations building line manager capability in regard to all of the above.
Training
- Maintain employee training records.
- organise mandatory training as necessary.
- implement and manage annual identification of training/staff development needs.
- develop and promote annual training calendar.
Business Support
- Assist with data entry using various database platforms.
- Assist with monthly data reports (as required).
- Provide administration support across all departments as instructed by the GM.
- Reception support (lunch cover).
- Data collection and entry into database.
- Meet all other administrative requirements to ensure a high level of efficiency.
- Ensure the secure management of client and organizational confidential information and compliance with privacy policies and legislation.
- Positive approach and the ability to work consultatively within a diverse multi-disciplinary group environment.
- Other duties as required.
About you:
To be successful you will possess excellent data entry and organisational skills. Your strong administration skills, ability to think outside the square, and work in a fast-paced environment will see you succeed in this role. Experience working within a client services / aged care setting will be highly desirable.
You have a current National police check or willing to obtain one. Covid-19 vaccinations, booster vaccination and a current Influenza vaccination are mandatory for all staff working with vulnerable people.
