The CCS team is seeking an experienced Business Systems to helping us build better products that people (or businesses) love to use. Through innovations in communications, we help companies better connect with their customers and stakeholders through print, digital and mobile delivery channels. Across the globe.

A role you will love          

You will be an integral part of the global engineering team in CCS which is a provider of integrated communications solutions. You will see yourself perform business analysis tasks to assist with the running of software applications managed by the Communication Services Global Engineering Team. This includes providing support to the business stakeholders on the use and resolution of 3rd party application requests and incidents.

Being the voice of the customer, you will play an integral part in converting wish lists into software requirements to ensure that the correct features and functionality are delivered and maintained throughout the platform lifecycle by engaging with people of all stakeholder levels.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Business analysis planning and monitoring – stakeholder and dependency management.
  • Requirements analysis, elicitation, and management – end to end software requirement accountability.
  • Solution assessment and validation – quality engineering.
  • Support – production platforms at 3rd level
  • Documentation – effective communication of deliverables.
  • Agility – supporting team via Scrum.
  • Facilitation and negotiation – leading on brokering agreement.
  • Defining customer journey
  • Defining and ensuring release readiness through key deliverables.

What will you bring to the role?                                                                    

This role is well suited to an individual with experience maximising the software’s business and proven prior skills building strong relationships with stakeholders, both technical and business, to ensure that the platform roadmap supports the business and technical strategy by managing complex requirements simultaneously to short timescales & demonstrate continuous improvement.

You will be natural leader and communicator with the ability to engage people at all levels of the organisation, the global role is a key part of the organisation and capability of influencing seniority as you will have a direct impact on the quality of the delivered platform.

Key skills required include:

  • Senior level relevant experience
  • Proven service and delivery capability / focus and ability to influence and gain trust at business at technology senior management levels in multi-cultural environments.
  •  Ability to manage complex requirements simultaneously to short timescales & demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data and present it in accessible formats.
  • Ability to communicate with business partners and stakeholder to senior level.
  • Experience of influencing at all levels, from delivery team, senior management, to vendors and implementation partners.
  • Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
  • Has a strong work ethic and is able to deal with conflicting priorities
  • Self-motivated and can use own initiative to recommend innovative solutions.
  • Commercially aware, able to relate technical matters to wider business considerations and able to articulate the implications or options on project and operational budgets
  • Has good listening skills, builds strong relationships, is flexible/open-minded, straightforward, honest, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback, handles conflict, maintains confidentiality and handles constructive criticism.
  • Can work effectively as part of a diverse team.
  • Mentors and coaches’ others.
  • Customer service focussed
  • A Degree in Computing, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory

Desired skills/experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or intermediate relevant experience in a technical support role
  • Ability to identify technical and application issues, and deliver resolution to identified issues
  • Previous experience working independently within a fast-paced environment
