Our client, a prominent employer in the NT region, responsible for supplying water and electricity services, is currently looking to fill a senior administration team support role working 3-days per week and stepping up to full-time hours after 3-6 months as projects arise.
Position Overview:
As Project & Admin Coordinator, you will essentially assist 2 x Senior Managers and the General Manager in providing high level admin support across the Regulations Economics & Pricing division.
Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced administrative and secretarial support.
• Schedule appointments, assist in coordinating contracts and procurement, and draft professional correspondence in a timely manner.
• Raise purchase orders, track contractor/consultant invoices and close out orders.
• Diary and calendar management.
• Monitor internal project progress, distribute tasks to relevant staff, and follow up as necessary.
• Assist in organising meetings and workshops, including preparing agendas and minutes, and arranging venues and travel.
• Ensure the quality control of correspondence and reports, offering guidance to agency staff on document preparation to meet corporate standards.
About You:
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following experience and skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in executive administration at a senior level.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and records management systems.
• Experience with Purchase Order processes.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks and priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, financial and human resource delegations, and project management practices.
Benefits:
• $56.12 p/hr + Super
• 3-days per week (approx 24-hrs p/w)
• Possibility of increasing to full-time hours after 3-6 months
