At SkinKandy we are enjoying a rapid growth journey with a new store opening every couple of weeks and in addition, we have further international market growth aspirations. This is a thrilling time for our brand. We have disrupted the market and established SkinKandy as the largest Body Piercing and Piercing Jewellery retail business globally. We are optimistic and excited about our future and are looking for great talent to join us on our continued global expansion.
With this, we have a unique opportunity for a Buyers Assistant to join our SkinKandy product and buying team.
The Role
As the Buyers Assistantyou will support the Senior Buyer in placing, maintaining and tracking orders for new lines & elements, preparing new line product VM information for stores (using Canva) and assisting with detail for marketing & seasonal store calendar.
This unique role is ideal for someone with a background/experience in retail product/merchandise and has the ambition to learn from a dynamic professional and grow their career. Our ideal candidate will have the drive to succeed, learn and develop.
Role Responsibilities:
This exciting role will see you assist with product lifecycle decisions and research new line specification as well as:
- Product Registration for New Lines (creation in systems)
- Quotation & Cost Admin for New Lines & Product Display elements
- Maintain relationships with vendors
- Work with Product Purchase / OTB guidelines
- Support on BOH sourcing and order support
- Loading Ecommerce product and information
- Maintaining system data and reporting
- Supplier co-ordination support (Labels, barcodes, carding, pre-sterilized packaging, etc)
- Administrative task associated with samples, product etc.
- Quality control process and management support (with partners and process in office).
