We faithfully invite candidates to apply for the role of Café Manager commencing in Term 2 of 2024.
This will be a full-time | school term time role.
The Cafe Manager is responsible to the Chief Operations Officer, for the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of the Cafe, providing the College community with nutritious and affordable foods that is underpinned by the healthy eating education that occurs during class time.
The Café Manager is responsible for ensuring café operations are based on good management practices that are financially self-sustaining as well as providing quality catering services for college events.
In your application, please include a covering letter (maximum 2 pages) which addresses the following key selection criteria and detailed resume.
- Previous experience managing canteen and food operations.
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to create healthy and sustainable menu options.
- Ability to work under time restraints to prepare, cook and organise meals for students and College events.
- Ability to ensure the highest standard of hygiene, organisation and time management is always upheld.
- Experience in managing finances, online ordering systems, volunteer timetables and communication with the school community.
- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety.
