About the role
Do you have demonstrated barista experience and the skills to successfully supervise a thriving hospitality team? Are you passionate about bringing your own leadership style to spark innovation and deliver excellent customer service? If so, join our team as a Café Supervisor! This is an exciting opportunity to work in the brand new Yarrila Art and Museum space at 2D Coffee House, situated right in the middle of the CBD. Enjoy a fresh and open-air working environment as you deliver a memorable coffee experience to the bustling wider community.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in similar hospitality environments; supporting and mentoring a team of hospitality professionals; and coordinating rosters and budgets as per team and organisational requirements.
As a Café Supervisor, you will possess a sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and requirements, and display exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

The expertise to utilise technology and communicate effectively across multiple platforms
Skills to manage and prioritise tasks.
What's on offer?
Starting salary from $62K + superannuation
Fixed Term Full Time 35 hours per week
Essentials Qualifications and Experience
Certificate II in Hospitality
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Food and Safety Supervisor Certificate
Minimum 2yrs experience as a seasoned barista, both capable and confident on the machine.
Desirable
Cert III in Hospitality.
