About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Café Support Worker! You will provide front of house assistance to café attendees, ensure cleanliness of facilities and perform administrative task to support client intake and further adhoc support for programs activities.
Responsibilities include
Ensure all tasks in the café are carried out safely & efficiently in timely manner
Ensure client assessments and referral to appropriate program area
Provide back-up support to Melbourne Project 614 hospitality staff and Melbourne Project 614 programs as required
Support the café supervisor with volunteer briefings, debriefings and support
Maintain all areas of café area to a high standard of cleanliness
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne Project 614, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 2 Award.
What you will have
Experience working with multiple complex client groups
Experience in the areas of food handling, barista, first aid and managing challenging behaviours
Commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army
A Current Driver's Licence
